Description
A merino wool balaclava keeps the ears, nape, and neck warm. The balaclava does not cause the head to sweat and allows the skin to breathe.
The fabric material is organic and does not contain chlorine and heavy metals or other harmful chemicals. The fabric is clean and gentle on the skin.
Merino wool products are suitable for year-round wear. The fabric keeps the body warm in winter and cool in summer. Merino wool products are antistatic and antibacterial, suitable even for babies with the most sensitive skin.
Dilling uses cotton and wool in their clothes that have a GOTS (The Global Organic Textile Standard) certification, the world’s leading organic textile processing standard. The standard includes strict control and ecological and social criteria throughout the supply chain.
Additionally, all Dilling clothing bear The Nordic Swan ecolabel, which sets strict requirements for substances handled in clothing processing. The label excludes the use of harmful substances on garments.
Care of merino wool products:
PRODUCT CARE: Products can be washed in the washing machine on a wool cycle (30 degrees). When washing, use detergent meant for woolen clothes. Merino wool garments can also be hand-washed, but do not soak them in water for too long.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND using a wool detergent that contains lanolin. Lanolin makes clothes waterproof, and a lanolin-containing detergent is not suitable for merino wool garments that are the first layer next to the skin. In this case, merino wool loses its property—it no longer absorbs moisture and does not keep the body warm and/or cool. Dilling wool washing gel does not contain lanolin!
