Why is our balm not vegan?

Beeswax is an excellent organic ingredient that replaces petroleum jelly (mineral oil) found in most balms. Beeswax gives the balm density and creates a protective layer on the skin against environmental damage. Organic beeswax is harvested with care so as not to harm bee colonies.
