Description
We use Nordic rapeseed wax to make this candle, featuring the following benefits:
- The rapeseed wax used is produced in Europe, ensuring a smaller ecological footprint due to reduced transportation distances.
- Rapeseed is not a monoculture, and its cultivation does not burden the environment. On the contrary, it is used for crop rotation. Rapeseed is often used as a cover crop before sowing grains.
- The rapeseed wax we use is GMO-free. Cultivation of genetically modified crops is prohibited in Europe.
- Rapeseed wax is biodegradable and burns longer and cleaner compared to paraffin.
- Rapeseed wax is vegan-friendly
- Candle burn time: 30h

Please follow these simple yet extremely important candle burning rules to ensure your candle burns pleasantly and safely:
* Burn the candle continuously until the entire surface has melted. This guarantees even burning.
ALWAYS trim the wick to 0.5 cm before lighting the candle. This ensures a clean burn and prevents sooting. A wick that is too long or has burnt residue (also known as a “mushroom”) creates a flame that is too large, which can become unstable and produce smoke and soot. Burning the candle with a wick that is too long or a large flame is dangerous. If the flame becomes too large, extinguish the candle, trim the wick shorter, and then relight if desired.
Blowing out the candle causes smoke. Instead, press the wick into the melted wax with, for example, the tip of a knife, and then straighten it. Make sure the wick remains centered in the candle and remove any burnt wick pieces from the wax.
Do not burn the candle for more than 3 consecutive hours.
Always burn the candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects. Stop burning the candle when there is less than 1 cm of wax left in the bottom of the glass.
Be careful when moving a burning candle—the glass can be hot.
Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets.
Avoid drafts near the candle.
Never leave a burning candle unattended!
If the candle glass becomes sooty (because you forgot to trim the wick…), you can easily clean the glass with a paper tissue.
