Description
The scent of small, delicate white blossoms, without which the feeling of spring is incomplete. A true harbinger of spring, where a gentle floral aroma mingles with fresh green notes.
For the making of this candle we have used rapeseed wax, which has the following advantages:
- The rapeseed wax used is produced in Europe, ensuring a smaller ecological footprint due to shorter transport distances.
- Rapeseed is not a monoculture and its cultivation does not burden the environment. Instead, it is used for crop rotation. Rapeseed is often used as a cover crop before cereal sowing.
- The rapeseed wax we use is GMO-free. The cultivation of genetically modified crops is prohibited in Europe.
- Rapeseed wax is biodegradable and burns longer and cleaner compared to paraffin.
- Rapeseed wax is vegan-friendly.
Burning time 30h.
Please follow these simple yet extremely important candle-burning rules to ensure a pleasant and safe burning experience:
* Burn the candle continuously until the entire surface has melted. This ensures even burning of the candle.
ALWAYS trim the wick to 0.5 cm before lighting the candle. This ensures the candle burns cleanly and does not produce soot. A wick that is too long or has combustion residues (so-called “mushrooming”) causes too large a flame, which becomes unstable and may create smoke and soot. Burning a candle with a wick that is too long or a flame that is too large is dangerous. If the flame becomes too large, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight as desired.
Blowing out the candle causes smoke. Instead, press the wick into the melted wax with, for example, the tip of a knife and straighten it again. Make sure the wick remains centered and no burnt wick fragments are left in the wax.
Do not burn the candle for more than 3 hours at a time.
Always burn the candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects. Stop burning the candle when less than 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the glass.
Be careful when moving a lit candle—the glass may be hot.
Keep burning candles away from children and pets.
Avoid drafts near the candle.
Never leave a burning candle unattended!
If the candle glass becomes sooty (as you may have forgotten to trim the wick shorter…), you can easily clean the glass with a paper napkin.
