Gummy candies were actually invented quite a long time ago—about 150 years back. Of course, they were originally made with gelatin and the mold used was human-shaped. The candies were called “Unclaimed Babies,” and the producer was Fryers of Lancashire back in 1864.

But what’s especially important to us—we never offer gummies made with animal ingredients or bones. If you’re interested in how regular (non-vegan) gummies are made, there’s plenty of info on YouTube and Google. But believe us, once you see (or know), you can’t unsee it. Making great candies truly doesn’t require bones.
