Rebael pacifiers have a nipple made of natural rubber, also referred to as natural rubber latex. In Rebael pacifiers, the natural rubber is allowed to dry naturally, without chemicals. This means the manufacturing process takes a little longer but ensures cleaner, more durable, and safer pacifiers.

Pacifier care and cleaning

For safety, it is important to sterilize pacifiers daily, but especially before first use. Due to the use of natural materials, sterilization should be carried out as follows:

1. Place the pacifier in a bowl and pour boiling water over it.

2. Let the pacifier soak for 5 minutes.

3. Take out the pacifier and let it dry. Squeeze out any water inside the pacifier.

After cooling, your pacifiers are sterilized and ready for use! Do not boil Rebael pacifiers as this can damage the natural rubber. Frequent cleaning of Rebael pacifiers is important for optimal hygiene. Good hygiene is always important, but absolutely essential for small children and infants. Do not use UV sterilizers. Rebael pacifiers are made from natural material which undergoes a natural aging process. UV exposure negatively affects this process – therefore we recommend never using UV sterilizers. Never clean in a dishwasher. Dishwashers do not reach a high enough temperature to ensure sterilization. Also, chemicals used in dishwashers may damage the pacifier.

Always check the pacifier before use, especially when your baby is teething. If the pacifier is damaged, stop using it. Replace the pacifier every 4-6 weeks.

Rebael pacifier size 1 is suitable for ages 0-6 months. Size 2 is suitable for ages 6+ months.
