The natural rubber in Rebael pacifiers is allowed to dry naturally, without chemicals. This means the manufacturing process takes a little longer, but ensures cleaner, more durable, and safer pacifiers.

Pacifier Care and Cleaning

To ensure safety, it is important that you sterilize pacifiers daily, but especially before first use. Due to the use of natural materials, sterilization should be done as follows:

1. Place the pacifier in a bowl and pour boiling water over it.

2. Let the pacifier soak for 5 minutes.

3. Take the pacifier out and let it dry. Squeeze out any water from inside the pacifier.

After cooling, your pacifiers are sterilized and ready for use! Do not boil Rebael pacifiers, as this may damage the natural rubber. Regular cleaning of Rebael pacifiers is essential for optimal hygiene. Good hygiene is always important, but especially crucial for infants and small children. Do not use UV sterilizers as Rebael pacifiers are made from natural materials that undergo a natural aging process. UV radiation adversely affects this process—therefore we recommend never using UV sterilizers. Never clean in a dishwasher as dishwashers do not reach a high enough temperature to ensure sterilization. The chemicals used in dishwashers can also damage the pacifier.

Always check the pacifier before use, especially if your baby is teething. If the pacifier is damaged, discontinue use. Change the pacifier every 4–6 weeks.

Rebael pacifier size 1 is suitable for ages 0–6 months. Size 2 is suitable for ages 6+ months.
