Pacifier Care and Cleaning
To ensure safety, it is important that you sterilize pacifiers every day, but especially before the first use. Due to the use of natural materials, sterilization should be done as follows:
1. Put the pacifier in a bowl and pour boiling water over it.
2. Let the pacifier soak for 5 minutes.
3. Take out the pacifier and let it dry. Squeeze out any water from inside the pacifier.
Once cooled, your pacifiers are sterilized and ready for use! Do not boil Rebael pacifiers, as this may damage the natural rubber. Frequent cleaning of the Rebael pacifier is important for optimal hygiene. Good hygiene is always important, but it is especially crucial for small children and infants. Do not use UV sterilizers. Rebael pacifiers are made from natural material that naturally ages. UV radiation adversely affects this process – therefore, we strongly recommend never using UV sterilizers. Never clean in a dishwasher. Dishwashers do not reach a high enough temperature to guarantee sterilization. In addition, chemicals used in dishwashers can damage the pacifier.
Always check the pacifier before use, especially when your baby is teething. If the pacifier is damaged, stop using it. Replace the pacifier every 4-6 weeks.
Rebael pacifiers size 1 are suitable for babies aged 0-6 months. Size 2 is suitable for babies aged 6+ months.
