For the making of this candle, we use rapeseed wax, whose advantages are:
- Rapeseed wax is produced in Europe, ensuring a smaller ecological footprint due to shorter transportation distances.
- Rapeseed is not a monoculture, and its cultivation is not burdensome to the environment. It is, in fact, used for crop rotation. Rapeseed is often a rotation plant before grain sowing.
- The rapeseed wax we use is GMO-free. The cultivation of genetically modified crops is prohibited in Europe.
- Rapeseed wax is biodegradable and burns longer and cleaner compared to paraffin.
- Rapeseed wax is vegan-friendly

Please follow these simple yet extremely important candle burning rules to ensure the candle burns pleasantly and safely:
* Burn the candle continuously until the entire surface has melted. This ensures even burning of the candle.
ALWAYS trim the wick to 0.5 cm before lighting. This ensures a clean burn and prevents soot. A wick that is too long or with burning residue (i.e., mushrooming) causes an excessively large flame, which becomes unstable and may produce smoke and soot. Burning a candle with a too-long wick or a large flame is dangerous. If the flame becomes too large, extinguish the candle, trim the wick shorter, after which you can relight the candle if desired.
Snuffing the candle causes smoke. Instead, dip the wick into the wax using a knife tip and straighten it again. Ensure the wick remains centered and no burnt wick pieces are left in the wax.
Do not burn the candle for more than 3 hours at a time.
Always burn the candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects. Stop burning the candle when less than 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the glass.
Be cautious when moving a burning candle – the glass may be hot.
Keep burning candles out of reach of children and animals.
Avoid drafts around the candle.
Never leave a burning candle unattended!
If the candle glass becomes sooty (because you’ve neglected to trim the wick…), you can easily clean the glass with a paper napkin.
