The sunglasses have preserved all the wonderful features of Kietla glasses, but they are simply ten times cuter!
The glasses are made in France and have won special awards at various baby and children product fairs!

The glasses come with an adjustable strap and a pouch. They are packaged in a case that can later be used as a pencil case or other holder.

Should children wear sunglasses?

Babies’ and children’s eyes need to be particularly protected from harmful sunlight on a hot sunny summer day because their protective ability is low: their eye pupil is wide, the lens is crystal clear, and they look upwards more than adults. Children are at a greater risk of eye damage caused by excessive sun exposure.

Do ordinary dark lenses also protect babies’ eyes?

It is not the dark lens that protects the eyes from sunlight, but the UV protection. Wearing glasses with just dark-tinted lenses without UV protection is extremely dangerous for the eyes because the eye’s natural protective functions: squinting and pupil contraction, do not activate with dark lenses. This allows significantly more UV radiation to reach the eye than if not wearing sunglasses at all.
