Description
UNBREAKABLE frames for the smallest ones
Ultra-light Fleur sunglasses have a round pantos-shape, feature flower petals on the frame, and are equipped with mirrored lenses (polycarbonate). The glasses are 100% made in France and suitable for children aged 0–4 years (0–1, 1–2, 2–4 years). Available in various colors.
Maximum sun protection
Category 3 mirrored lenses filter 100% of UV rays (UVA, UVB, UVC) and include a blue light filter, offering optimal protection for toddlers’ delicate eyes.
Safety and comfort guaranteed
The frame is made from a single piece, unbreakable and hinge-free. Specially designed nose pads for small children ensure a perfect fit and comfortable wear throughout the day.
Clever packaging and accessories
Unique and reusable packaging: the lid can be used as a sand mold, and the tube as a pencil holder. The set includes an adjustable strap and a microfiber pouch. Optical lenses can also be fitted if desired (through an optician).
Main advantages:
• UNBREAKABLE, ultra-light, and ergonomic frame
• Made in France, recyclable and BPA-free
• Category 3 lenses, UV400, blue light filter
• Mirrored lenses
• Comes with an adjustable strap and microfiber pouch
• Reusable and unique packaging (sand mold + pencil holder)
Care: Clean with warm water and neutral soap.
Usage: Although Kietla glasses are very durable and the frame is unbreakable, they are not toys. Please ensure the child does not rub them against stones or chew them. In such cases, the lenses may get scratched.
Should a baby wear sunglasses? The eyes of babies and children should be especially well-protected from harmful sunlight on hot, sunny summer days because their protective ability is low: a child’s pupil is wide, the lens crystal clear, and moreover, they look up more than adults. Children have a greater risk of eye damage caused by excessive sunlight.
Do regular dark lenses also protect babies’ eyes? It is not the dark lenses but the UV protection that shields eyes from sunlight. Wearing glasses with simply dark-colored lenses without UV protection is extremely dangerous for the eyes, as the natural protective functions of the eye: squinting and pupil constriction, do not work with dark lenses. As a result, much more UV radiation enters the eye than without sunglasses.
