Description
Urban sunglasses from the VIBE collection are designed for active children who are on the move both in the city and in nature. The sharp-lined square design gives the glasses a modern and sporty look.
The semi-thick arms of the glasses are made from a translucent material and feature a 180° flexible hinge, allowing them to open wide without damaging the frame. A uniform matte tone adds character, while the translucent tone keeps the design light. The model is available in two sizes: 4–7 and 7–12 years, fitting different face shapes.
First-category polarized lenses offer maximum protection from the sun. The lenses filter 100% of UV radiation (UVA, UVB, UVC) and include a blue light filter, reducing glare and improving visual comfort in bright light. Polarization makes vision clearer, even with reflections from water, sand, and asphalt.
The Urban model is designed to withstand even the roughest use. The 180° openable arms, lightweight, and ergonomic shape ensure comfort all day long, without causing pressure.
The set includes a microfiber pouch, suitable for storing and cleaning the glasses. If desired, the frame can also be equipped with optical lenses (through an optician).

Do children and babies need to wear sunglasses? The eyes of babies and children need to be particularly carefully protected from harmful sun rays on hot, sunny summer days because their protective capability is low: a child’s pupil is wide, the lens is crystal clear, and they also look up more than adults. Children are at a higher risk of developing eye damage caused by excessive sun exposure.
Does a regular dark lens protect children’s and babies’ eyes as well? It is not the dark lens, but UV protection that shields the eyes from sunlight. Wearing glasses with just dark-tinted lenses without UV protection is extremely dangerous for the eyes, as the eye’s natural protective functions: squinting and pupil constriction, do not activate with dark lenses. Therefore, much more UV radiation reaches the eye than without sunglasses.
