Description
Urban sunglasses from the VIBE collection are designed for active children who move both in the city and in nature. The sharp-edged square design gives the glasses a modern and sporty look.
The semi-thick arms of the glasses are made from a translucent material and feature a 180° flexible hinge, allowing a wide opening without damaging the frame. The uniform matte tone adds character, while the translucent tone keeps the design lightweight. The model is available in two sizes: 4-7 and 7-12 years, fitting different face shapes.
The first category polarized lenses offer maximum protection from the sun. The lenses filter 100% of UV rays (UVA, UVB, UVC) and include a blue light filter, which reduces glare and improves visual comfort in bright light. Polarization makes vision clearer against reflections from water, sand, and asphalt.
The urban model is designed to withstand even harsher use. The 180° opening arms, light weight, and ergonomic shape ensure comfort throughout the day without creating pressure.
The set includes a microfiber pouch, suitable for storing and cleaning the glasses. If desired, the frame can also be equipped with optical lenses (through an optician).

Do children and babies need to wear sunglasses? Babies’ and children’s eyes need to be especially protected from harmful sunlight on a hot sunny summer day because their protective capability is low: a child’s pupil is wide, the lens is crystal clear, and they look up more than adults. Children are at greater risk of eye damage caused by excessive sunlight.
Do regular dark lenses also protect children’s and babies’ eyes? It’s not the dark glass but the UV protection that protects eyes from sunlight. Wearing glasses with simply tinted dark lenses without UV protection is extremely dangerous for the eyes because the eye’s natural protective functions: squinting and pupil contraction, do not work with dark glass. Therefore, much more UV radiation can enter the eye than without sunglasses.
