UNBREAKABLE frames for the little ones
The ultra-light Fleur sunglasses feature a round pantos shape, with petal-like frames and equipped with mirrored lenses (polycarbonate). The glasses are 100% made in France and are suitable for children aged 0–4 years (0–1, 1–2, 2–4 years). Available in several colors.
Maximum sun protection
Category 3 mirrored lenses filter 100% of UV rays (UVA, UVB, UVC) and include a blue light filter, providing optimal protection for toddlers’ delicate eyes.
Safety and comfort guaranteed
The frame is made from a single piece, unbreakable and hinge-free. The specially designed nose support for small children ensures a perfect fit and comfortable wear throughout the day.
Smart packaging and accessories
Unique and reusable packaging: the lid can be used as a sand mold and the tube as a pencil holder. The set includes an adjustable strap and a microfiber pouch. Optionally, the frame can be fitted with prescription lenses (via an optician).
Main advantages:
• UNBREAKABLE, ultra-light and ergonomic frame
• Made in France, recyclable and BPA-free
• Category 3 lenses, UV400, blue light filter
• Mirrored lenses
• Comes with an adjustable strap and microfiber pouch
• Reusable and unique packaging (sand mold + pencil holder)
Care: clean with warm water and neutral soap.
Usage: Although Kietla glasses are very durable and the frame is unbreakable, they are not toys. Please ensure that the child does not rub them against stones or chew on them. In such cases, the lenses may get scratched.
Should a baby wear sunglasses? Babies and children’s eyes need careful protection from harmful sunlight on hot sunny summer days because their protective ability is low: a child’s eye pupil is wide, the lens is crystal clear, and they look upward more than adults. Children are at greater risk of developing eye damage from excessive sunlight exposure.
Do regular dark lenses also protect babies’ eyes? Eyes are not protected from sunlight by dark lenses, but by UV protection. Wearing glasses with dark-tinted lenses without UV protection is extremely dangerous for the eyes because the eye’s natural protective functions: squinting and pupil constriction, do not function with dark lenses. As a result, much more UV radiation enters the eyes than without sunglasses.
