Description
Urban sunglasses from the VIBE collection are designed for active children who are on the move in both the city and nature. The sharp-edged square design gives the glasses a modern and sporty look.
The semi-thick temples are made of translucent material and have a 180° flexible hinge, allowing them to be opened widely without damaging the frame. A uniform matte tone adds character, while the translucent tone keeps the design light. The model is available in two sizes: 4–7 and 7–12 years, fitting different face shapes.
The first category polarized lenses provide maximum protection from the sun. The lenses filter out 100% of UV rays (UVA, UVB, UVC) and contain a blue light filter, which reduces glare and improves visual comfort in bright light. Polarization makes vision clearer against reflections from water, sand, and asphalt.
The Urban model is designed to withstand even more rigorous use. The 180° opening temples, lightweight, and ergonomic shape ensure comfort throughout the day without causing pressure.
The set includes a microfiber pouch, suitable for storing and cleaning the glasses. If desired, the frame can also be fitted with optical lenses (via an optician).

Should children and babies wear sunglasses? Babies’ and children’s eyes should be especially carefully protected from harmful sun radiation on hot, sunny summer days, because their eye protection capabilities are low: a child’s pupil is wide, the lens is crystal clear, and moreover, they tend to look upwards more than adults. Children are at greater risk of developing eye damage from excessive sun exposure.
Do regular dark glasses also protect children’s and babies’ eyes? It’s not the dark glass that protects the eyes from sun radiation but the UV protection. Wearing glasses with simply dark-tinted lenses without UV protection is extremely dangerous for the eyes, because the eye’s natural protection functions: squinting and pupil constriction, do not activate with dark glass. Therefore, much more UV radiation reaches the eye than when not wearing sunglasses.
