Description
Urban sunglasses from the VIBE collection are designed for active children who move both in the city and in nature. The sharply edged square design gives the glasses a modern and sporty look.
The semi-thick temples of the glasses are made of translucent material and with a 180° flexible hinge, allowing wide opening without damaging the frame. The uniform matte tone adds character while the translucent tone keeps the design light. The model is available in two sizes: 4–7 and 7–12 years, fitting different face shapes.
First category polarized lenses offer maximum protection from the sun. The lenses filter 100% of UV rays (UVA, UVB, UVC) and include a blue light filter, which reduces glare and improves visual comfort in bright light. Polarization makes vision clearer in reflections from water, sand, and asphalt.
The Urban model is designed to withstand even harsher use. 180° opening temples, lightweight, and ergonomic shape ensure comfort throughout the day without causing pressure.
Included is a microfiber pouch suitable for storing and cleaning the glasses. If desired, the frame can also be equipped with optical lenses (via an optician).

Do children and babies need to wear sunglasses? Babies’ and children’s eyes need to be especially carefully protected from harmful sun rays on hot sunny summer days because their eye protection ability is low: a child’s eye pupil is wide, the lens is crystal clear, and moreover, the child looks up more than an adult. Children are at greater risk of developing eye damage caused by excessive sun exposure.
Do regular dark lenses also protect children’s and babies’ eyes? It is not the dark lens that protects from sun rays but the UV protection. Wearing glasses with simply darkened lenses without UV protection is extremely dangerous for the eyes because the natural protective functions of the eye: squinting and pupil contraction, do not activate with dark lenses. Therefore, much more UV radiation can enter the eye than when not wearing sunglasses.
