Description
The Urban sunglasses from the VIBE collection are designed for active kids who move both in the city and in nature. The sharp-edged square design gives the glasses a modern and sporty look.
The semi-thick temples of the glasses are made of translucent material with a 180° flexible hinge, allowing them to open widely without damaging the frame. A uniform matte shade adds character, while the translucent tone keeps the design light. The model is available in two sizes: 4–7 and 7–12 years, fitting different face shapes.
First category polarized lenses offer maximum protection against the sun. The lenses filter 100% of UV radiation (UVA, UVB, UVC) and include a blue light filter, which reduces glare and improves visual comfort in bright conditions. Polarization makes vision clearer when dealing with reflections from water, sand, or asphalt.
The Urban model is designed to withstand even harsher use. The 180° opening temples, light weight, and ergonomic shape ensure comfort throughout the day without creating pressure.
The set includes a microfiber pouch, which is suitable for storing and cleaning the glasses. If desired, the frame can also be fitted with optical lenses (through an optician).

Do children and babies need to wear sunglasses? Babies’ and children’s eyes should be especially carefully protected from harmful sun radiation on hot sunny summer days, as their eyes have low protective ability: a child’s pupil is wide, the lens crystal clear, and moreover, they look upwards more than adults. Children are at greater risk of eye damage caused by excessive sun exposure.
Do regular dark lenses also protect children’s and babies’ eyes? It is not the dark lenses that protect eyes from sun radiation but UV protection. Wearing glasses with lenses that are simply tinted dark without UV protection is extremely dangerous for the eyes because the eyes’ natural defense mechanisms: squinting and pupil constriction, do not activate with dark lenses. As a result, significantly more UV radiation enters the eyes than without sunglasses.
