Description
The Urban sunglasses from the VIBE collection are designed for active children who move both in the city and in nature. The sharply defined square design gives the glasses a modern and sporty appearance.
The semi-thick arms of the glasses are made of translucent material and have a 180° flexible hinge, which allows them to open wide without damaging the frame. The even matte tone adds character, while the translucent tone keeps the design light. The model is available in two sizes: 4–7 and 7–12 years, fitting various face shapes.
First-category polarized lenses provide maximum protection from the sun. The lenses filter 100% of UV radiation (UVA, UVB, UVC) and include a blue light filter, which reduces glare and improves visual comfort in bright light. Polarization makes vision clearer against reflections from water, sand, and asphalt.
The Urban model is designed to withstand even harsher use. 180° opening arms, lightweight, and ergonomic shape ensure comfort throughout the day without causing pressure.
The set includes a microfiber pouch, suitable for storing and cleaning the glasses. If desired, the frame can also be fitted with optical lenses (through an optician).

Do children and babies need to wear sunglasses? Babies’ and children’s eyes need to be particularly carefully protected from harmful sun radiation on hot sunny summer days because their eyes’ protective ability is low: a child’s eye pupil is wide, the lens is crystal clear, and moreover, they look upwards more than adults. Children are at greater risk of eye damage caused by excessive sun exposure.
Do regular dark lenses also protect children’s and babies’ eyes? It is not the dark lenses that protect against sun radiation but UV protection. Without UV protection, simply dark-tinted lenses are extremely hazardous to the eyes because the eyes’ natural protection mechanisms: squinting and pupil constriction, do not function with dark lenses. As a result, significantly more UV radiation can reach the eyes than without sunglasses.
