Description
The Urban sunglasses from the VIBE collection are designed for active children who move both in the city and in nature. The sharp-lined square design gives the glasses a modern and sporty appearance.
The semi-thick temples of the glasses are made of translucent material and feature a 180° flexible hinge, which allows for wide opening without damaging the frame. The uniform matte tone adds character, while the translucent tone keeps the design light. The model is available in two sizes: 4–7 and 7–12 years, fitting different face shapes.
First category polarized lenses offer maximum protection from the sun. The lenses filter 100% of UV rays (UVA, UVB, UVC) and include a blue light filter, which reduces glare and improves visual comfort in bright light. Polarization makes vision clearer during reflections off water, sand, and asphalt.
The Urban model is designed to withstand even tougher use. The 180° opening temples, light weight, and ergonomic shape provide all-day comfort without causing pressure.
The set includes a microfiber pouch, suitable for storing and cleaning the glasses. The frame can be optionally equipped with optical lenses (through an optician).

Do children and babies need to wear sunglasses? The eyes of babies and children must be particularly carefully protected from harmful sun exposure on hot sunny summer days, as their eyes have low protective ability: a child’s pupil is wide, the lens is crystal clear, and they look up more than adults. Children are at a higher risk of eye damage caused by excessive sun exposure.
Do ordinary dark lenses also protect children’s and babies’ eyes? Eyes are not protected from sunlight by dark lenses, but by UV protection. Wearing glasses with simply dyed dark lenses without UV protection is extremely dangerous for the eyes, as the eye’s natural protective functions: squinting and pupil constriction, do not work with dark lenses. As a result, significantly more UV radiation reaches the eye than when not wearing sunglasses.
